If ordering online is "not your thing " then we have recently introduced a general local delivery service which may benefit customer's who prefer to have our fresh and tasty fruit and vegetables delivered to their door at a time which is convenient to them. We will also include all our other jams, chutneys, mustards, free-range eggs, organic beef and lamb and frozen gourmet meals within the service, in fact anything in our shop can be ordered.

About Us

Colin Steele & Jennifer Hustler-Steele started the farm shop business in spring 2007. We pride ourselves in being local and supplying ultra fresh local produce to the town of Blairgowrie and beyond. See our Contact Page for more details.

The Shop

Our farm shop has been renovated to the highest standard and is bright and welcoming, whilst retaining a unique character of a shop from the past, accentuated by our large mahogany fruit and veg displays, counter area and appealing signage.

Our Produce

This is an area that we like to talk about, as our fruit and vegetables, sourced in Scotland, are ultra-fresh and are on our shelves days before the “ground to shelf” life provided by many supermarkets. We prefer to stock local produce whether from local farms, market gardens or even your vegetable plot out back! Many of our Honeys, Jams, Sauces and Chutneys are made locally in the Tayside area. All fresh raspberries during the June to November period are supplied via Jock McFarlane’s farm, Easter Rattray, Blairgowrie and our strawberries come from Colin Grant's farm at Essendy, Blairgowrie. We sell our soft fruit the day it is picked! If you wish any soft fruit for jam making please contact us.

Our Staff

On every visit you will be greeted with a welcoming smile and helpful attitude from Jennifer or Colin. We think it makes a difference to have a local shop with staff who are interested in our customers. Remember to ask any questions you may have. We will have "tasting table" from time to time for your trial. If you feel that we should stock something which is a favourite with you, let us know, and will do our best to have it in the next time you visit!

We need your Help!

We currently have around 20 local producers providing us with local veg. and whether you own a large farm or have excess vegetables in your garden we are willing to discuss paying you for local fruit or veg that we can sell in the shop. Maybe there are not many grapes or pineapples grown in Perthshire but I'm sure we can all think of someone who will be happy to provide us with quality local produce!
